WHITE ROSE is a 2004 Deep Keel Sabre 426, known for its performance, comfort, and craftsmanship. Designed by Jim Taylor and built in Maine, she is the epitome of a performance oriented racer cruiser, ready and able to race to Hawaii or cruise to Tahiti. She has a new, robust, autopilot as well as Hydrovane wind vane steering equipment. Her rod rigging is was completely replaced in 2022. A lightweight carbon spinnaker pole supports wing on wind sailing downwind as well as a symmetrical spinnaker. A removable inner forestay supported by running backstays allows a balanced and fast sail plan in windy conditions. Sails are in good condition. She is supremely comfortable and easy to sail short handed even in strong winds and big seas.
WHITE ROSE has a spacious, well-appointed interior, designed for comfort and practicality and featuring warm finishes with elegant joinery. LED fixtures provide good illumination after dark. The salon has port and starboard settees, with a folding table to maximize space. four opening ports, a large hatch and two Dorades provide excellent ventilation. There are conveniently placed hand holds throughout the salon. The forward cabin has a large V-berth. Several large drawers, a cupboard, a hanging locker, and lockers beneath the berth provide ample storage. There is a large hatch and an opening port for ventilation. The aft cabin has a double berth, three overhead lockers and a hanging locker. There are two opening port lights, and an overhead hatch. Additional storage is available beneath the berth. The head is spacious and includes a separate, enclosed, stall shower. The manual Raritan PHII marine head has a 30-gallon holding tank. There is a countertops, sink, and storage cabinet above. An opening hatch and two port lights provide excellent ventilation and natural light. |
