Description: |
Getting rid my Catalina 22 in favor of a larger cruiser, suited for the type of sailing I want to do. She's free if you can come get her, but if there are no takers I'll be scrapping her soon.
I'll add some of the known issues, things which make her unfit for extended cruising: - There's some moisture in the deck, to what extent I'm unsure. - The swing keel is loose around the pivot pin. This is a common Catalina 22 issue. - The motor mount is aging, and should be replaced soon. - The halyards are also aged and could use replacing. - Some of the wood is aging and breaking apart. - There is crazing on much of the deck, and stress cracking in a few spots. |
