Description: |
Fantastic sailboat, ready to sail anywhere. I bought this boat and lived aboard in Puget Sound in 2007 then sailed it from Seattle to Long Beach in 2008. Since then it has been a coastal cruiser in Southern California and is moored in Shoreline Marina. It is well equipped and well kept.
During covid I began extensive work: 1. Removed all deck hardware and painted topside with Brightside and Kiwi-grip, re-bedded all hardware with butyl tape. 2. Installed custom mast steps (low windage) with carabiner connections 3. Removed atomic 4 inboard engine, gas tank and auxiliary equipment, reconfigured and painted engine compartment for stowage including secure and protected double battery bank (added 2 new 92 amp-hr AGM batteries). 4. Purchased new Tohatsu 9.9 HP outboard motor with electric start and EFI. Installed custom engine track to raise and lower engine 25" so prop is clear of water when up and can be buried deep in choppy water. Mount has multiple adjustments to optimize engine height. Engine is raised and lowered with block and pulley. 5. Replaced original tempered glass portlights with 1/4" polycarbonate 6. Replaced padded headliner in main salon with wood (alder) 7. Painted interior including lockers and stowage areas 8. Installed new Dometic double range stove with frame mount gimbal 9. Replaced all propane hoses, regulator, solenoid valve 10. Painted and sealed aft locker stowage for safe, secure propane and gas stowage 11. Rewired electrical panel 12. Installed red LED strip lighting in main salon 13. Installed custom main hatch with 3/8" polycarbonate (smoke color) 14. Installed custom cherry handrails in main salon |
