Kluane is a bluewater classic built by one of the finest yachter builders in the world. Exceptionally well-cared for, Kluane is a joy to own, sail, and cruise. The hull is solid glass with epoxy barrier coating and no blisters. NO TEAK DECK EVER! The full/cut away forefront keel supports the rudder - a simple and proven design. The cockpit is comfortable in/out of port, with a factory installed wheel, glass windshield (a HR tradition), huge lockers, incredible engine access, and three easy steps to the galley and nav table. Inside - the forepeak sleeps two in a vee with filler, a hatch provides plenty of air, two lights for reading. The head is aft with Lavac head (fresh and salt water flush) hanging closet, plenty of cabinet space for toiletries, two opening windows, doors for privacy, and a teak grate with drains to bilge (no shower use - but its possible). The main cabin has port and starboard settees, comfortable for relaxing and sleeping when underway. There is incredible stowage beneath each settee, with both top and front access. An adjustable table with fiddles seats two with ease, four when needed. The galley is compact and functional. Dual burner propane stove with broiler, Frigoboat keel cooled refrigeration, hand and foot pump fresh water, excellent light and views for the chef! Across from the galley, a full size nav station (custom from HR). Tons of storage for charts, books, tools. Garmin GPS, Icom SSB & VHF, Vesper AIS - easy to reach, easy to see, easy to access. Remove the companionway steps for engine access, or open the cockpit sole - there isnt anything you cant access.
