If you are looking for an updated, well-cared-for, easily trailerable boat that can be singlehanded as a daysailer or weekender, can be enjoyed with friends and family, can make it into 3' of water, can be used to comfortably explore all sorts of locales in all sorts of conditions...this is a great boat for you.
I owned a 31-footer before this boat; I downsized, looking for something that I could take to any lake I could drive to. I wanted more freedom to get into shallow areas, even close up to beaches. I felt this is especially important given fluctuating water levels. I wanted something I could singlehand and that I could get from the trailer to the water by myself, if necessary. But I still wanted a comfortable boat to sleep on with an ice box, stove, and head. I wanted a boat that moved well and could race if I wanted to race. But I also wanted a boat that I could set the autopilot on and could sit back and read as the boat sailed itself to the next port. This boat is over 20 years-old, but it in such good condition and has so many new components and accessories, that it would take $20K extra to get a new boat up to this level of readiness.
The boat is currently in the water, moored, and ready to sail.
I'm happy to answer questions. She's a great boat! |
