Description: |
Immortalized as the floating home of Miami Vices Sonny Crockett, the 1985 Endeavour 42 Center Cockpit is an extremely comfortable and specious cruiser. The boat features a queen aft cabin with a private head and separate shower, a forward head with separate shower, a large v-berth, and 64 headroom throughout. The long keel with a 5 shoal draft and skeg hung rudder are perfect for cruising FL or the Caribbean.
This project boat is currently in a boat yard in Port Charlotte, FL. We motored the boat under its own power from Ft. Lauderdale, through Okeechobee, and up the Gulf Coast to Port Charlotte to begin a refit. We lived on the boat for several months and many projects have been completed or are underway, but due to work commitments we had to move away and are not able to complete the project.
The v-berth and forward head are in excellent condition, and the aft cabin is partially rebuilt. All hatches and ports have been re-bedded and a solar fan was added to the forward head. The bottom is blister-free and in excellent condition. The galley and main salon will need some work but are in decent shape. Includes a new mini washer and dryer installed in the aft head, and an Iceco refrigerator/freezer. Also includes a dyer dinghy.
Includes original Perkins 4-154 62 HP diesel inboard. Runs well but could use some restoration. The previous owner installed a new custom fiberglass fuel tank, but it will need to be resealed and new lines run.
The original mast was broken during hurricane Irma, so the boat will need a new mast. The boom, spreaders, and majority of the rigging are on board. Brand new custom stainless chainplates also on board.
This is a project boat and will need some work to get her refit, but will be beautiful once restored! Located in one of the most affordable DIY boatyards in FL, where you are allowed to live onboard while doing your own work!
Asking $16,500 or best offer. Coast Guard Certificate of Documentation in hand.
