Description: |
This boat is more like and Eastport Pram than a Passagemaker because of the decking in bow and stern and the centerboard chimney placement. The standing-lug sail and efficient rudder and daggerboard make a proper sailboat with enough real performance, upwind and down, to keep the most seasoned sailors interested. The 60 inch beam means that the likelihood of capsize is remote as long as the sheet is never tied down. This is the perfect craft in which to learn to sail, whether the crew is age 8 or 80. Perfect in a protected bay or large lake! Available for pick up weekend of Sept. 20th - High tide will be 6 ft first thing in the morning and easy to haul out on marina's yard side. |
Equipment: |
No outboard motor! Rudder, sail, two new oars, Lines, anchor, centerboard. The bottom has been coated in fiberglass for extra strength and durability. |
