This sailboat was completed in my shop after 5 years of careful craftsmanship. The boat is constructed from Glen-L 13 plans designed by naval architect Glen L Witt. It is of the cat boat design with a centerboard.
Southern yellow pine was used in the frame. A marine grade plywood was used for the hull skin and deck. All of the hardware is marine grade.
The hull is epoxied with fiberglass cloth and three coats of marine paint. The deck has three coats of epoxy and three coats of marine grade varnish. All the standing rigging, running rigging, and sail are included.
The boat is also equipped with a small electric motor to make it easier to get to and from the dock. The 12V battery is not included. A heavy-duty canvas tarp comes with the boat to provide a winter cover.
The trailer has been retrofitted with the correct bunks to properly fit this boat. Also the trailer has a fresh coat of paint and is road ready with new tires and repacked wheel bearings. A 2 ball is required for towing.
