The Mason 43 is an iconic, classic design, built to Lloyds of London standards for for fiberglass vessels. SOLITUDE has spent over half of her life, very lightly sailed for less than half of the year on the fresh water of the great lakes. she features the finest teak interior and has berths for as many as 9. She has received exceptional maintenance by a very meticulous owner including annual refreshing of the exterior teak. Now a change in life style makes her available to a new owner. MAIN SALON The main salon is wrapped in tongue and groove teak and has a large U-shaped dinette and settee to port which converts to a double berth. To starboard is a lower settee/pullout berth and an upper pilot berth can accommodate 4 crewmembers. There are storage lockers behind cushion-backed settees. All the upholstery has been refreshed and in excellent condition. Suspended above the teak dining table hangs a beautiful large brass ships lantern.
AFT STATEROOM The aft stateroom can accommodate 3 crew with a double berth to port and a single berth to starboard. There are storage lockers with louvered doors outboard of both berths. Another large storage locker is in between the berths. Extremely well ventilated with opening portlights on three sides.
FORWARD CABIN The forward cabin features a generous double vee berth and storage lockers on all sides including hanging lockers.The oversized glass overhead hatch provides plenty of light and additional ventilation. There is also access to the chain locker through forward bulkhead. |
