This EndeavourCat 36 has been owned by the seller since 2007. Valkyrie has been exceptionally well maintained, constantly upgraded and kept to the highest standards. She has everything you need for extended cruising, and just had 3 coats of fresh ablative bottom paint in May, 2024.
With a draft of only 2'10 she can go almost anywhere. Her cruising spinnaker allows her to travel in light air, and with her heavy-duty full-battened Mainsail and Full-battened Camber-spar self-tacking Jib (both made for her by Mack Sails) she can also safely handle heavy weather, and anything in between. The two Volvo diesel engines were upgraded to the larger MD2030, 29hp motors and the saildrives were upgraded from SA-120s to brand new SA-130s with new bronze Volvo folding props in 2007, so she can get you wherever you want to go regardless of the weather or wind while still only burning 0.3 gallons/engine/hour. If it gets squally outside no worries your full length Nida-cored fiberglass walk-on hardtop won't let a drop of rain touch the helm station. Just relax in your captain's chair, turn on the windshield wipers and RADAR and sit back, warm and dry, until the squall subsides. The chartplotter-interfaced AIS receiver will also let you know if there's dangerous traffic out there.
The 3.5 KW generator by NextGen and CruiseAir reverse-cycle ducted air conditioner will keep you cool and powered up once you get there and the 200 gallon/day watermaker will keep your tanks full so you can enjoy daily showers in the dedicated stand-up shower stall. Cook dinner on the propane stove or in the oven, or use the microwave, or maybe grill on the aft deck on the Magma BBQ. The ICOM M-710 SSB/HAM radio keeps you in touch offshore and the Pactor3 modem lets you get and send emails anywhere in the world for free. Queen sized beds with memory foam matresses make for comfortable sleeping.
